Safety Issues None Instruction Opening The class will start with me asking if anyone has any questions on the material on the quiz, or if there is anything they would like me to go over. (15 minutes) Learning Activities The students will take a quiz on mitosis, meiosis, and punnet squares. (30 minutes) After the quiz, students will be introduced to the inquiry assignment called “Will My Grandkids look as Good as Me?” The students will be advised to pair up with one other person and they will discuss how they are going to make their family tree. (Assignment will be attached to Lesson 4) (30 minutes) Closing Students will be told to work on their assignment and go home and collect traits of their parents. Assessment Quiz on mitosis, meiosis, and punnet squares. Homework Students will go home and find out three traits about their mother and father. (hair color, eye color, short/tall) Additional Notes
